Here are six tips to perfectly upgrade your outdoor space.

Creating Your Own Benches

If you want to get creative and start your own project, then you can begin creating your own benches and your own metal garden art. To do this, you will need to start welding and choose your style; one of the most popular styles is MIG Welding which uses electricity to join metal together. Alternatively, you could hire a professional to do it for you.

Creating and designing your own bench or metal garden furniture is not necessarily going to be easy, but it is a great task to consider undertaking, and a fantastic way to spend your time considering that we are all locked down now, unable to do anything creative outdoors.

Fencing

Personally, I am a firm believer that one’s garden should be private to them and should not be infringed upon by other people. Unfortunately, in the suburbs this is not always possible, and it is very hard to keep people out of your private space, even if it is just their voices, or the knowledge that they can see you. Many suburban gardens have low fencing that allows people to see through and into their garden, erect fences in your garden that enable you to block people out of your garden and keep your space private.

Windchimes

Windchimes are another great way to create your own private space. If you hang them up beside your fence, the wind blows them and makes them chime, which will block out the noise of other passers-by or people in their gardens. This will create your own paradise in which you can escape the world and the only noise you hear are the birds chirping and your chimes chiming. Windchimes are a great investment to get for your home.

o2 6 Tips to Perfectly Upgrade Your Outdoor Space

Trees

Garden trees are something that we believe every garden should have. You can pick up a sapling, or a half-grown tree, and put them in your garden, then over the years they will grow and become huge. One of the most popular trees that you can put in your garden is an acer tree, which grows huge, and will create shady areas of your garden. Trees are a great way to upgrade your outdoor space from something basic into something that is envied throughout your neighbourhood and a great place to spend your time in.

Birdbath

A birdbath is another great way to upgrade your garden. Sure, a garden with a tree, windchimes, fencing, and custom benches is awesome, but what’s better than a garden with all of that, and a population of birds? When you begin encouraging birds to come into your garden, your garden will turn into a veritable bird sanctuary, complete with robin’s, bluetits, and everything in-between. Birdbaths, food hangers, and birdhouses are a great way to introduce a population of birds into your backyard or outdoor space, and in turn, make it an idyllic paradise, complete with wildlife and everything you could possibly need!

Pond

A pond is the ultimate outdoor upgrade. Ponds are a great addition to any outdoor space, especially if they are large enough to introduce carp or other fish into, though if you do, you will want to cover the pond with a net to stop the local cats from doing a bit of fishing. Ponds are not expensive to install and can be a great addition to any outdoor space – you can create your own pond by digging out a trench, filling it with tarpaulin and rocks, then water. Ponds are easy to maintain too and do not need cleaning every single day, but rather, once a month.
