The 1920s is having something of a revival currently, with popular culture bringing it into the fold. From the hit TV show Peaky Blinders to Great Gatsby inspired parties, everyone wants a slice of ‘the roaring 20s’, not only in their life also their home.

Shake up the lighting
One of the best features to include in your home to truly make it feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the 20s is to kit out your lighting with a razzle-dazzle chandelier, to a really transform your home. Chandeliers can be a fantastic feature which will truly add a big dose of glamour to any room. There’s a range of styles you can choose from, but those which have frosted glass or teardrop-shaped beads will really hark back to the time of the Charleston and flapper dresses!
Brighten up your walls
One of the best ways to makeover your home into a 1920s haven is to deck the walls out in art-deco inspired wallpaper to truly transform your living space. Think wallpaper with geometric designs across a rich colour palette which will grab the eye of any passer-by when they walk into the room. Make sure to look at different patterns and colour schemes which look like they’ve been taken directly from that era to help you to decide what will work best with the rest of the décor you have in mind.

Last, but not least, make sure to invest in some Art Deco inspired wall pieces to bring your home to life and immerse it fully into this era.
